Let me say something about Parimal Ecohub!
A year ago it was just an idea that was born out of our eco-friendly lifestyle. As we adopted changes towards everything organic, handmade, handcrafted, handloom, traditional and original products, we found it challenging to find the options that would suit us. Suitable in terms of affordability, trustworthiness, purity, authenticity!! To find the answers we embarked on our journey to visit many places. We met weavers, artisans, artists, nomads, tribes and a whole lot of people. We also engaged with industrialists, academicians who have adopted eco-friendly living right from building their houses to making everyday choices. While visiting remote villages with no rains for years, we were surprised to see the green garden in each house! Farms and pastures spread across acres of land that were full of crops waiting to be harvested! These were the results of traditional rain harvesting techniques. They live in harmony with mother nature by making sane, sophisticated choices!
We found a new world that has been preserving, practicing and preaching traditional sustainable life techniques, without even realizing that how much they are needed in today’s modern world. We all have our roots attached to villages in various states of India. And here is our sincere attempt to create that bond once again !! Villagers are not only presevators but real time innovators who simplify their lives by making customized solutions for their problems on their own !! And the organisation that supports and mentors such innovators is GIAN- Grassroot Innovators Augmentation Network founded by Prof. Anil Kumar Gupta.
We are glad to share with you that we draw our inspiration from Padmashree Prof. Anil Gupta Sir who has been working relentlessly in the field of Grass-root Innovations for more than four decades. Prof Anil Kumar Gupta has founded SRISTI, GIAN, Honey Bee Network, National Innovation Foundation, CSIR Bhatnagar Fellow. All these foundations support and encourage grass root innovators through various ways.
We are truly happy to share with you that our entity, Pure Matter Hub is incubated at GIAN- Grassroot Innovators Augmentation Network, Ahemadabad, Gujarat. We are committed to support and promote handcrafted, innovative, eco-friendly products of our very own fellow members from GIAN as well as from various states of India. We intend to provide solutions to urban consumers with this. That would generate employment at villages and provide required choices to urban population. Thus we aim towards inclusive growth at every level.
